Mangaluru, Feb 23: Karnataka State Electronics Development Corporation Ltd (KEONICS) will organise Mangaluru Innovation Conclave on February 24.
“Mangaluru has enough potential to be developed as the hub of science and technology. The scheduled conclave aims at sowing seeds for the formation of IT hub,” said KEONICS chairman K Harikrishna Bantwal.
C N Ashwath Narayan, Deputy Chief Minister and Minister for Higher Education, Information Technology and Biotechnology, Science and Technology, Skill Development, Entrepreneurship and Livelihood will inaugurate this conclave.
Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Electronics, IT, BT and Science and Technology E V Ramana Reddy will deliver key-note address. MP and State BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel will preside over the programme.
Informing about the intention of the programme, Harikrishna Bantwal said that the programme aims at promoting science and technology beyond Bengaluru. Over 100 invitees representing various industries, academic institutions and the government will attend the programme that would shed light upon the idea of forming IT hub in city.
